A weekend and short-haul duffel in full-grain crazy horse leather. One bag for the gym, the overnight and the business trip, made to age into a patina rather than wear out.

  • Two or three nights in one bag: 42L, the size between a holdall and a suitcase
  • Wet-and-dry compartment: keeps gym kit or a wash bag away from your clean clothes
  • Full-grain crazy horse, vegetable-tanned: real first-layer hide that ages into a patina, not a "genuine leather" coat that cracks
  • Folds flat when empty: stores away without the bulk of a hard case
  • Polyester lining: wipes clean
  • Dimensions: (L) 55 × (W) 29 × (H) 26 cm / (L) 21.7 × (W) 11.4 × (H) 10.2 in
  • Size: cabin bag compatible (do check your airline’s cabin allowance)
  • Volume: approximately 42 litres
  • Weight: 2.15 kg / 4.73 lb

Caring for your leather

Your bag is full-grain crazy horse leather, vegetable-tanned. It's made to be used, and it ages the better for it. A few simple habits keep it looking right.

  • Marks are normal. Crazy horse is a waxed leather, so it takes on scratches and scuffs as you carry it. Most rub straight out: warm the mark with your thumb or a soft cloth and it settles back in. That's the finish doing its job, not damage.
  • Feed it now and then. Every few months, work a little leather balm into the hide with a soft cloth. It keeps the leather supple and deepens the colour.
  • Keep it out of prolonged heat and strong sun. Both dry the leather over time. A warm room is fine; a radiator or a sunny dashboard is not.
  • It resists a light shower, but it isn't waterproof. Don't soak it. If it does get wet, blot the excess with a soft, light-coloured cloth and let it dry naturally, away from direct heat.
  • New leather can rub off a little colour, especially when damp, so go easy against very light fabrics for the first few wears. It settles with use.
  • For a stubborn stain, leave it to a specialist leather cleaner rather than scrubbing it yourself.

One bag for every trip you take

A full-grain leather duffel made for the gym, the overnight and the work trip, and built to age instead of wear out.

Full-grain leather that ages

Full-grain crazy horse cowhide, vegetable-tanned. It's the top layer of the hide, the part that lasts, and it deepens into a patina with use instead of cracking like the coated "genuine leather" that's caught people out before. Buy it once and it's still yours in years.

Gym kit, kept apart

A separate, sealed-off compartment keeps damp kit or a wash bag away from your clean shirts. It's why the same bag works for the gym before work and the overnight after, without everything ending up smelling of trainers.

Two or three nights in one bag

At 42 litres it sits between a holdall and a suitcase: enough for a couple of nights without checking a bag, and sized as a cabin bag. One bag for the weekend, the work trip and the gym.

Folds flat when you're home

When it's not in use it folds down, so it tucks onto a shelf or in the wardrobe rather than taking up the room a hard case would. Useful when you've got the trips but not the storage

Tanned slow, made to age.

Full-grain is the top layer, grain left intact. It's the strongest, most characterful part, and it ages well instead of cracking. It's vegetable-tanned, the slow traditional way, with natural plant tannins rather than fast chrome. Then it's finished as crazy horse: a waxed pull-up that burnishes and softens with handling. Scuff it, and the mark rubs back with a thumb or a cloth. Carry it for years, and it settles into a patina that's yours alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

It’s sized as a cabin bag at 55 × 29 × 26 cm, and being a soft bag it gives where a hard case can’t. Cabin allowances differ between airlines, and budget carriers set smaller limits, so do check these dimensions against your airline’s cabin allowance before you fly.

42 litres, the size between a holdall and a suitcase. Comfortably two or three nights' clothes, with the wet-and-dry compartment taking shoes, a wash bag or gym kit. Plenty for a weekend or a short work trip without checking a bag.

Crazy horse is a natural full-grain leather with a wax finish, so every hide takes the colour and the marks a little differently. Small variations in tone, grain and the odd natural mark are part of it, not a fault. It means no two are identical, and yours only gains character as you use it.

Yes. Two rolled top handles for hand-carry, plus a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap for when your hands are full or the walk's a long one.

No, and that's rather the point of crazy horse leather. It's made to be carried and lived with, not kept for best. Scuffs and scratches rub back with a cloth or just settle into the patina, so daily use only improves it. You don't need to be careful with it, which is exactly what you want from a bag you bought to actually use.
